    Past experiences with online writing…

Most of the reading that I do is found in magazines and books. I tend to spend little time reading from a webblog or online site. There are many differneces between printed text and text found online. There are two main differences that I have noticed.
I found that writings are either very long or very short. For example, if reading a newscast, interview, blog, or other site, the information is usually condenced. This condencing of the information is for a few reasons. People need to get the information out as quick as possible, so the information becomes as simple as possible to read. Unlike Rileyb, I usually do most of my reading online. Whether it is about sports, current events in the news, or simply for leisure, online is the way to go. In terms of writing, I mostly write in popular sites such as Myspace and Friendster where I can write feedback or people could leave me feedback. It is a great to communicate with people rather than having the hassle of scheduling a time to meet. I know that it is somewhat impersonal, but a lot of people are finding the fact that writing online works. Just like some of the people who have responded, I also believe that writing online is easier because it is more casual rather than professional form of writing. I believe that some times people are better off writing this way than the professional process. Overall, it is a medium of writing, but there are more ways to communicate.
