Character building, part 1

Here is our first subject for the assignment as discussed in class.  Add comments to this post to build a cumulative background and personality for this character.  What is she thinking?  Where did she come from?  How might she deal with a stressful situation?  Remember that consistency is the key; build on your classmate’s comments to create a believable character.
